About Me

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Hi, I’m Amy!

…a 30 something year old wife and mom navigating my way through this wild ride called life. Welcome to my little corner of the world where you’ll surely laugh, maybe cry and find some great recommendations for style, décor and some of my favorite things.

I started this blog in 2015 as a way to document my infertility and child loss journey, but it soon became a platform in which gave many others a voice to share their own experiences and has since grown into a passion of mine to share all things in life.

My life is nothing short of crazy, but I somehow manage the chaos with lots of coffee, wine and big belly laughs with the people I love. My husband Justin and I have been together for 10 years (married for 6 of those) and we have two children together, Addie (12) and Bodhi (2). If you’ve done the math, you recognize that my husband, Justin and I got together after Addie was born. He adopted her when she was 5 years old, after we got married. Bodhi was our foster son that we brought into our home at just 6 days old and after 2 years and 4 months, we adopted him. Justin and I never wanted our children to be aged so far apart, but after years of infertility and giving birth to 4 baby boys born into heaven, we decided to stop trying to have our own biological children and give our love to children in foster care. It was one of the best things we have ever done together as a family!

There is deep pain and loss intertwined into our story, but there is also so much beauty that we’ve seen along the way. I hope that you’ll follow along and take this journey with me, because I promise you’ll never get bored and I’ll always make room for you at my table![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”4090,4094,4092,4093,4089,4091,4042″ img_size=”full” css=”.vc_custom_1610478690027{border-radius: 5px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
